I'm guessing that you're at a kind of crossroads in your life--a spot that's asking something different from you. Whether in thoughts, mindsets, feelings, behaviors, or identity, these shifts will hopefully allow you to accelerate toward the more fulfilling life you want with more confidence and clarity.
And sometimes, we can dig deeper into that exploration and find more helpful ways of being with some external support.
In the midst of life transitions, sitting with big grief, managing chronic illness, reckoning with the impacts of trauma, wondering about the challenges experienced in relationship, and/or hoping to improve the richness and connection in current relationships, we're really aiming for change... expansion of who we are and how we can show up to the life in front of us.
I'm glad you're here and looking forward to getting started.
I offer couples work and individual sessions for adolescents and adults residing in Colorado. Fee information can be found here.
For clients in Lake, Summit, or Chaffee counties, I offer walk-and-talk sessions year-round or in-person sessions at my Leadville office location. Telehealth is available to any client via a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.
I take a holistic and pragmatic approach to therapeutic work, showing up authentically and bringing a sense of levity and humor. I maintain person-centered, relational, trauma-informed, and strengths-based lenses and incorporate strategies from a variety of modalities and theories as they suit you, your goals, and your style. Sometimes sessions are hard and painful, but you'll find some connection and ease in the midst of it all, too.
I am offering a group for female-identifying folks starting in September in collaboration with colleague Alison Festa of Mountain Roots Therapy. Find additional information on my Group Counseling page.
My specialties include working with folks reflecting on relational challenges--with connection, intimacy, communication--along with supporting folks managing chronic illness, experiencing grief and loss, and/or in the midst of life transitions. My own professional ties to outdoor education, wilderness recreation, teaching/education, and crisis first response paired with personal experience navigating the healthcare system help me understand these contexts deeply.
